For starters, your knees and back aren't built to carry that extra weight. Your heart is probably working overtime too. My husband developed diabetes nine years ago, and it's not like I didn't tell him he was at risk. Now, of course, he's lost the extra 50 pounds (down to 250!) but he still has high blood pressure. |
