Plus, I have read that a cat can die within three days if not fed because of thier different metabolisms. I would hate to think of the damage a crash diet could do for a cat. I love animals and am very concerned for thier welfare. I think worrying about a fat house cat who is (most likely) spayed/neutered so he can't increase the cat population, well treated, and lives in an atmosphere where they're loved and fed, is really the least of the world's ills and not a pressing matter for concern. |
