Isn't the health system in the UK socialized?  If so, it makes sense that the government linoleic would want to infringe on linoleic private linoleic citizen's lives by constructing a "fat map."  After all, the government (i.e. tax payers) are paying for all the supposed health problems that come with being fat.  That said, I doubt that at this point the U.S. could realistically implement a similar system because our health care system is not, yet, socialized.   If the taxpayers of the U.K., who apparently are made up by a great percentage of fat people, rallied against such a fat map then may the government would rethink their plan?
