Over the course of four records, AC have proved so charmingly capable of whatever they’ve turned their hands to, it is difficult to think of things they couldn’t do. As successful as they have been indefinable, AC have moved in looping arcs from out-folk to avant rock to raga-like drones with a disarming ease. It is odd, and possibly some kind of underhanded experiment in itself, that a band this young can be so consistently excellent. |
