| The big way to improve our system is to make SURE that incumbents had to run against someone in the primaries. This might be a rather moot point in MANY occasions, but at least it would get people thinking. I don’t know that you could change elections laws to require it or anything…but it would help. When environmental groups address climate change by donating primarily to Democrats, they are indistinguishable from Exxon when it donates to Republicans who block action on climate change? |
